Teknos Aqua Primer 3130 is a water borne industrial primer for wood designated for exterior use such as windows and doors. Teknos Aqua Primer 3130 can be applied by Airmix or Airless spraying systems, either by hand or in automated spraying facilities. Teknos Aqua Primer 3130 will typically be applied on softwood or hardwood. For non-durable hardwood and softwood, we recommend a pretreatment with a Wood Preservative. Exterior durability of coating systems including Teknos Aqua Primer 3130 are typically documented according to EN 927-2.
Teknos Aqua Primer 3130 is available as opaque white, clean white or cream factory tinted shades. AQUAPRIMER 3130-00 is a highly versatile, robust and easy to use softwood and hardwood primer, which typically is used for exterior windows, doors, shutters, conservatories or wooden cladding. Teknos Aqua Primer 3130 is suitable for spray application.
Application
The wood must be clean and free from wood dust and contamination. The moisture content of the wood should be approx. 13% and should not exceed 15%. All softwood and non-durable hardwood for exterior use should either be vacuum impregnated (only softwood) or treated with a wood preservative.
The product is delivered ready for use. Stir the product well before use.
