Teknos Teknoseal 4000 is an aqueous product for sealing of end grain of new wood designated for exterior use, including wooden windows and doors.
Best Uses
Teknos Teknoseal 4000 End Grain Sealer is an aqueous product for sealing of end grain of new wood. This product is formulated for exterior use, including wooden windows and doors.
Teknoseal 4000 is part of the large range of Teknos Ancillaries available from Promain.
Application
The wood must be clean and free from wood dust and contamination. The moisture content of the wood should be approx. 13 % and should not exceed 15 %.
All softwood and non-durable hardwood for exterior use should either be vacuum impregnated (only softwood) or treated with a wood preservative.
Apply using a brush. Product is ready to use. Primed parts must always be protected with a topcoat treatment before they are exposed to the influence of the weather.
