Teknos Timantti 20 is a semi matt water-borne acrylate paint for walls and ceilings indoors. Mildew-resistant, and suitable within a system with Teknos Timantti W as a moisture sealer system in wet rooms.

Best Uses

Teknos Timantti 20 is the topcoat within a system over Teknos Timantti W moisture sealer for wet rooms, approved by the Swedish Måleribranschens Våtrumskontroll (MVK). The product has been classified to Group M1 in Emission Classification of building materials.

Teknos Timantti 20 is especially suited for use on walls and ceilings in dry and humid spaces where good washability and abrasion resistance is required, e.g. in kitchens, bathrooms, halls, staircases, kindergartens, schools, hospitals, food processing premises and other similar facilities.

Teknos Timantti 20 can be applied to primed concrete, plaster, filler, brick, and building board surfaces according to the painting directions. The paint is also suitable for repainting old alkyd and dispersion paint coats.

Application

Clean the surface from dirt and dust. Wash previously painted, dirty surfaces with Teknos Rensa Super paint cleaner. Matt down hard or gloss surfaces by sanding and thereafter remove the dust. For smoothing of irregularities in the surface choose a suitable filler from the Teknos Silora series. The dried filler is sanded down and the dust removed.

HUMID AREAS: Prime concrete, plaster, stopper, brick, and building board surfaces with Teknos Timantti W moisture sealer according to the directions for use.
IN DRY AREAS: prime the surfaces previously mentioned with Teknos Timantti 3 Primer.

Prime steel surfaces with Teknos Ferrex Aqua anti-corrosive paint. Prime galvanized surfaces with Teknos Timantti 3 Primer.
